Sydney rally for native title
SYDNEY — Up to 10,000 people took part in the October 11 rally for native title in the Domain. Organised by Australians for Native Title and Reconciliation, the rally was chaired by the ABC's Julie McCrossin and heard speeches from Hazel Hawke, Mick Dodson, Brian Brown and Peter O'Brien from ANTaR. Performers included Jenny Morris, Dog Trumpet, Charlie McMahon and Holly Go Lightly. The original rally to be held on September 21 was postponed due to rain, despite thousands turning up on the day.
