1995 target reached! Launch of 1996 fund appeal

The Green Left Weekly 1995 fund appeal exceeded its target of $115,000 by $300! Congratulations to everyone who contributed, either by direct donation or by supporting the many Green Left Weekly fundraising events that were held in cities across Australia. Raising extra funds for Green Left enables us to keep the cover price reasonable and accessible to everyone who values an independent media voice. This year's fund appeal is set at $120,000, and is already off to a great start. At the recent Socialist Education and Activists Conference in Sydney, members of the Democratic Socialist Party and Resistance pledged individual donations of over $72,000. This leaves just under $50,000 which must be raised to meet the target. Perhaps you can make a donation to the 1996 appeal? You can either pay now, or make a pledge to be paid off throughout the year. You can also show your support by attending a Green Left Weekly dinner, jumble sale, film night or public forum. You will find all these events listed under your city every week in "Meetings ... Parties ... Anything".
