Move to ban marijuana cards
BRISBANE — Queensland Attorney-General Denver Beanland has launched an investigation into the sale of "marijuana swap cards" from vending machines at shopping centres, after complaints from a Townsville parent.
The probe was announced on April 26, after the cards were referred to the state censor's office. The cards feature pictures of marijuana varieties on one side, and detailed information on the other.
The Classification of Publications Act was used under the previous state Labor government to ban an issue of Simply Living magazine which gave detailed information about marijuana, and also to ban the Bubble Boy swap cards featuring homosexuality.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
