Fundraiser to highlight the cultural richness and harmony that exists within Victorian Eritrean and African communities. Guest speaker: Saleh 'Gadi' Johar, strong human rights campaigner who has written extensively on human rights violations. Music by East African cultural band. 7:30pm. Arts House, North Melbourne Town Hall, 521 Queensberry St, North Melbourne. $30/$20. All proceeds go to funding the Awate Foundation and human rights activities in the Horn of Africa.
