Palestinian solidarity groups, unions and Trade Unionists for Palestine are calling rallies at docks at Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth on Saturday 25 May.
The aim is to organise for an end to all trade with Israel as part of a broad BDS call - but with a focus on shipping as major trade infrastructure.
The rallies will also call for state governments to withdraw the charges against MUA and other union officials, and activists advocating for a ceasefire and an end to the genocide in Gaza.
