Sixty women gathered outside the Tasmanian parliament on February 13 the day before Valentines Day to urge Premier David Bartlett to not tear the heart out of Tasmania.
The women invited Bartlett on a Valentines Day date to the pristine Upper Florentine the home of some of Tasmanias most precious forests and under threat from widespread logging.
@9point =We would be absolutely delighted if Mr Bartlett would join us on a date in the Upper Florentine to experience the beauty of the Valleys virgin old growth forests and see firsthand the destruction thats breaking our hearts, spokesperson Jess Wright said.
