The article “Trial of the Goulburn Nine” (GLW #775)contained an error, claiming the Melbourne “terror trial” in September resulted in “six people [being] convicted of conspiring to commit a terrorist act”. In fact, they were convicted of belonging to a terrorist organisation.

Also, the article “Geelong Socialists stress climate action, participation” in GLW #774 reported that Eddy Kontelj, a local council elections candidate, is contesting for the Liberals. In a subsequent letter to GLW, Kontelj states: “I have never been a member of any political party including the Liberal, Labour, Greens, Socialist Alliance or other. I have nominated as a Candidate for this month’s COGG [City of Greater Geelong] council election to represent the Cowie ward as an independent.” We apologise for the inaccuracy.
