On March 19, the third anniversary of the US-led invasion of Iraq, Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War, Vietnam Veterans Against the War, Military Families Speak Out, Gold Star Families for Peace and hurricane survivors’ groups will embark on a five-day march along Gulf Coast Highway 90. The march will demand the immediate return of US troops from Iraq and for tax dollars to be spent on people’s needs and rebuilding the devastated Gulf Coast, rather than on the illegal occupation of Iraq.
