New Bougainville is about Bougainville gaining a new autonomous government, a joyous moment for Bougainvilleans after ten years of blood and tears on the island.

The film features independence leader the late Francis Ona.

The video also talks briefly about the so-called law and order problem. The media points to Bougainville as one of the “hot-spots” in PNG, but the people of Bougainville don’t see it that way.
