Pot calls kettle black

“Bin Laden says his own role is to tell Muslims, quote, 'what is good for them and what is not.' And what this man who grew up in wealth and privilege considers good for poor Muslims is that they become killers... He assures them that this is the road to paradise — though he never offers to go along for the ride.” — Emperor George Bush II, scion of the dirt-poor Bush family, who never sends any poor American off die in his place, speaking in Washington, October 6.

Emperor Bush’s killers

“At least 21 detainees who died while being held in US custody in Iraq and Afghanistan were killed, many during or after interrogations, according to an analysis of Defense Department data by the American Civil Liberties Union... at least eight resulted from abusive techniques by military or intelligence officers, such as strangulation or ‘blunt force injuries’, as noted in the autopsy reports. “ — Associated Press, October 24.

Cruel Inhuman Abusive

“Stepping up a confrontation with the [US] Senate over the handling of detainees, the White House is insisting that the Central Intelligence Agency be exempted from a proposed ban on abusive treatment of suspected al Qaeda militants... The Senate defied a presidential veto threat nearly three weeks ago and approved, 90 to 9, an amendment to a [US]$440 billion military spending bill that would ban the use of ‘cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment’ of any detainee held by the United States government. This could bar some techniques that the CIA has used in some interrogations overseas.” — New York Times, October 25.
