ADELAIDE — Two-hundred protesters converged on the Adelaide Festival Theatre on August 27, where PM John Howard was addressing the state Liberal Party’s annual general meeting. Organised by the Student Activist Alliance, a group from Glenunga International High School, the action focused on defending workers’ rights, now and for future generations. Jake Wishart from the SAA said the main message of the action was that we have to “fight every step of the way” for our rights.
