IRELAND: Bush gets a rowdy Irish welcome

17 November 1993

As US President George Bush’s plane touched down at Shannon Airport in Ireland’s west, more than 10,000 protesters turned out in Dublin on June 25 to protest his visit, and call on their government to stop allowing US war planes to refuel at Shannon.
