A little (true) story


31 July 2002

A senior work colleague,
A family friend.
A beer gut, a beard
and a gold wedding band.
A young employee,
A confident woman
A coffee at work
An unwanted question ...
"Will you fuck me?"
It slowly sunk in
The "friendly" affection
The attention from him.
She felt sick and awkward
Confidence shattered
Couldn't face him again,
did NOT feel flattered.
An official complaint
Anger, remorse
A quick resignation ...
Hers, of course.
