RESISTANCE!
Take action, fight sexism: Join your International Women's Day collective

2 December 1998

Around the country, Resistance members are helping to kick off organising meetings for next year's International Women's Day marches, rallies and festivals.

International Women's Day is the biggest, most radical annual feminist event in Australia. With women's educational, reproductive and employment rights under increasing attack by the Howard government, next year's march will be even bigger and more important.

The International Women's Day collectives in each city are now meeting regularly and welcome all women who want to get involved in planning and organising the day -- its theme, demands and activities.

Whether you are a high school or uni student, working or unemployed, if you want to get together with other women to fight sexism, get in touch with the Resistance Centre in your city (contact details on page 29) to find out about the next International Women's Day collective meeting and how you can get involved.

Don't agonise, organise! Fight sexism!
