They blame foreigners for rising unemployment. With a federal election approaching, their views are influencing the major parties. Hanson's One Nation? No, it's the German People's Union (DVU), the largest of the country's far-right parties. Couching their racist message in populist, nationalist terms, the DVU scored a high vote in recent state elections. SBS, Saturday, September 12, 7.30pm.

Fooling with Nature -- Lower IQS, reduced fertility, birth deformities and abnormalities within the immune system have all been suspected of being linked to synthetic chemicals in the environment. US scientists have found growing evidence that these chemicals, stored in our bodies, could threaten human health. “You are carrying at least 500 measurable chemicals in your body”, points out scientist Theo Colborn. “They were never in anyone's body before the 1920s.” SBS, Tuesday, September 15, 8pm.
