Correction

In the article “Occupations: where do they fit in?” by Ray Fulcher and Marina Carman in GLW #278, two errors were introduced in the process of shortening the article.

The quote, attributed to Socialist Alternative, of the need to “occupy something, anything” appeared, not in a leaflet, but in remarks by a Socialist Alternative member at a student activists' meeting.

Second, the International Socialist Organisation did not “argue in favour of throwing confidential personnel files” out the window at the occupation. The ISO argued in favour of throwing files out the window, not confidential personnel files. However, at later meetings they did justify throwing confidential personnel files out the window.
