How to Research Chemicals: A Resource Guide

The resource guide is designed for the US which limits its usefulness elsewhere. However, given the likelihood that the chemical you wish to investigate has US connections it may direct you to useful information for beating local red-tape merchants about the head with. How to Research Chemicals lists material available on chemicals, research techniques, organisations with information including US government agencies. It would also be handy for untangling the detail in articles and books written for a US audience as it mentions areas of responsibility of agencies and departments. There is plenty of additional reading, and all publications are listed with full ordering details. The publications are both technical and general, and the descriptions given specify the intended user.
