Only two months remain until the end of the year. In that time we need to raise a further $30,000 for the Green Left Weekly fund appeal in order to make our target for 1994.

You can be sure that over the next two months, a fast pace will be set around the country to raise the extra funds we need to assure Green Left's continued publication for another year. Dinners will be held, films will be shown and concerts will be organised.

Meeting our fund appeal target this year will require an extra special effort. It is with this in mind that we now appeal to our readers.

Without the active support of Green Left's regular readers, the paper could not go on printing. We have no special sources of corporate funds, and receive no money from government. As an independent progressive news weekly, we have limited financial resources of our own to call on.
