The Cutting Edge: Toxic Border -- American companies taking advantage of Mexico's lack of enforcement of its environmental laws has meant that the region just south of the border has become a toxic hell. Some of the best-known corporate names have exploited the cheap transport and labour costs in the area, only to leave it contaminated.
