Cult Movie: Mysteries of the Organism -- Dusan Makavejev's mixture of sex and politics is partly a documentary on the theories of sexologist Wilhelm Reich and partly the fictional story of a woman who practices Reichian sexual freedom. SBS, 9.30pm, Friday, July 8.

Movie: Twilight of the Cockroaches -- A combination of animation and live action, Hiroaki Yoshida's feature relates a story of romantic triangles among cockroaches. SBS, midnight, Friday, July 8.

Hidden Faces -- This program focuses on the work of Dr Nawal El Saadawi, a Muslim feminist who is also a psychiatrist and novelist. SBS, 2.30pm, Saturday, July 9.

As Long as the Rivers Flow -- A documentary on the changes to the land and people brought about by a 1975 agreement in northern Quebec hailed at the time as a model for Native Canadians for land claims and self-government. SBS, 3.30pm, Saturday, July 9.
