Pleasure plays World Environment Day

Pleasure for the Sixth Sense is an ever-changing and growing organism. Since its inception two years ago, it has strived to constantly redefine and re-invent it musical identity.

Born from Brisbane's inner-city culture and given expression through Resistance's Green it Up, a Green Left Weekly fundraiser, Pleasures has explored a myriad of forums for its music and performance.

Its music has been described as inventive, refreshing and hypnotic. The formula incorporates harmonica, didgeridoo and flute, layered over the surface of a guitar-based sound. The band's theatrical live performances have earned a growing reputation and significant airplay on community radio station 4ZZZ.

Pleasures' debut tour of Sydney culminates at the Landsdowne Hotel on June 1 and at the Tattersalls Hotel in Lismore on June 2. Pleasure is also playing at Brisbane's World Environment Day celebrations at the Botanic Gardens on Sunday, June 5.
