Help Green Left get around!

29 July 1992

This week, supporters of Green Left Weekly launched an ambitious national campaign to take the circulation of the paper to a new level.

The aim of the campaign, to get 1000 new subscribers over the next 10 weeks, reflects the conviction among the thousands of people already involved with the GLW project that this paper is too valuable not to be made more widely available.

Since its conception in mid-1990, the GLW project has developed and matured due to the commitment of a broad cross-section of left and green activists who are intent on creating a high quality newspaper which is produced for and by ordinary people.

The success of this campaign will consolidate the achievement of Green Left as the most widely read alternative to the mainstream press in Australia today -- an alternative which didn't even exist 18 months ago, but which a growing number of thinking people now find indispensable.

During the subscription campaign, GLW readers can take advantage of a number of special offers, including free extensions of their own subscription for every new six or 12-month subscription sold. In addition, we are giving away a bound volume of the 1991 editions of GLW to the most successful subscription seller during the campaign.

For information about how you can help with the campaign or to order a bundle of subscription forms, please contact GLW on (02) 690 1230 or write to us at PO Box 394, Broadway NSW 2007.
