Great for kids

I enjoyed reading Kathie Atkinson's In the Rainforest to my 19-month-old daughter. Atkinson's fine colour photographs of rainforest

animal life include the diamond python, brushtail possum, black flying-fox, satin bowerbirds, wallaby, brush turkey, trapdoor spider and goanna.

Her informative style of writing combines well with her photographs, making In the Rainforest excellent for young children.
